Lenten Outreach Project

February 18, 2026 / amk / No Category

Parishioners are invited to participate in a Local Lenten Outreach Project for Montrose Children –

A unique Lenten almsgiving opportunity for all parishioners – You can bring Easter joy to a local, Montrose student.

After Mass, visit the Family Life Center and choose a “Resurrection Bubble Envelope” which is pre-addressed with a child’s name.

Pray for this child and their family during Lent!

Record your name next to the child you choose to sponsor.

As a sponsor you can fill your envelope with Easter themed items or other small items, and then mail it near the end of Lent to arrive in time for Easter.

As a Sponsor you will provide postage and mail the envelope to the child.

What do I put in the Resurrection Bubble Envelope?

IDEAS: Easter candy, Easter booklets, prayer cards, Rosary, pictures of Jesus, stickers, religious items, unisex T-shirts, socks, gloves, toothbrush, toothpaste, small trinkets, matchbox cars, gift cards, handwritten note, notepads, markers, coloring books, packaged treats, jewelry, small DIY crafts, etc.
