Our Lady of Perpetual Help Chaplet

Desprestaur.jpg

Leader:  In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.  ALL:  Amen.

ALL: Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life our sweetness and our hope.  To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve.  To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.  Turn then most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us.  And after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.  O clement, oh loving, oh sweet Virgin Mary.  LEADER:  Pray for us oh Holy Mother of God.

ALL: That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.  Amen.

On the large beads:

ALL: Mary can help us, Mary will help us, Mary wants to help us, Mary must help us.

LEADER:  Mother of Perpetual Help.    ALL:  Pray for us.

After five decades of prayer:

ALL: Remember, oh most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known, that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.  Inspired by this confidence, I fly to thee oh Virgin of virgins, my Mother.  To thee I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.  Oh Mother of the Word incarnate, despise not my petitions but in thy mercy, hear and answer me.  Amen.

LEADER: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.  ALL:  Amen.
